My right headphone doesn't work

For some reason, when I listen to my music, my right headphone doesn't work. The remote on that headphone works perfectly fine, but headphone itself doesn't work, only my right earphone. How can I fix this? Should I go to the Apple Store?

Either you have developed a short, you have mono sound turned on, or the headphones are not plugged in all the way.
Check under settings->general->accessibility, mono sound off.
Make sure headphones plugged in fully.

If that is not the issue-you need new headphones.
