Applications on my ipod touch are not working right. When opened, they close right away as soon as they open up. Took it to Apple store and the technician restored the ipod to its original settings. Came back home and hooked it up to the computer to sync everything, and the apps still did not work. So I deleted all my apps, restored the ipod on my own, and then synced all my music back on to the ipod. I then downloaded the Facebook app, and it still does not work. Just opens up then closes right away. I restored it again and downloaded a free Wi-Fi finder app, and it did the same thing again. Any suggestions? Do I need to send the ipod to Apple?

No, its your account. Make a new one and log in with it. Don't worry, it will still have all your apps and stuff on the ipod, just dont update anything from app store or log in with the old one.

Hi, i had this exact problem and only had my ipod touch a few hours and i guess some apps can mess stuff up nice n proper. However!!! through trial and error i have remedied my problem - my apps now work!. What i did was to go into my itunes folder remove thefiles from the apps folder(i put em on desktop) i then went into my ipod touch settings and chose ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS - not reset defaults, i then powered back on and was prompted to connect to itunes which i did then i was asked do i want to restore the latest back up or treat as a new ipod - i chose treat as new, then i went to the file tab chose add new files to library and pointed to my apps on desktop after a short while the apps were back in my itunes apps folder and i checked the sync apps box applied setting and wen i tried my apps after syncing they all worked fine!!!!! obviously this way means u wipe all data off ur ipod but u simply whack all ur music etc back on. I hope this works for all u guys cos ipods/iphones are too f*ing expensive to be causing us silly problems.
