how do I know that i have a 3GS when my iphone shows 3g and not 3gs?

Please tell me how I can verify that I have a 3GS and not a 3G, I paid for a
3GS and my iphone says 3g at the top on screen
Tell me how to verify it is really a 3GS?

3G is your internet reception.
It has nothing to do with your phone being a 3GS, you can verify it being a 3GS by using the compass or video camera.

Also does it say iPhone on the back of the phone in chrome? iPhone 3GS should

Do you have the box it came in? It should say iPhone 3GS on it.

If all of those methods aren't enough, hold on the Home button and see if the voice control comes on.
