Converting a managed portable account to a standard one

I created a managed account with portable home directory for a user on X Server 10.4, synced to a MacBook Pro running Leopard (since upgraded to Snow Leopard).

I've shut down the server, and now would like to convert the portable account on the MBP to a standard account, but I can't find any way to do this.
