Transporting iMac (Horizontal OK?)

I'm transporting my iMac to another state and was wondering if it is OK to transport it in the box horizontally?

 iMac 24" 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB, 1TB HD, Mac OS X (10.6.2), Harman Kardon SoundSticks II, HP Photosmart C7250, Maxtor 750GB, iPhone 3GS

Yes, as long as the shock absorbing blocks encase the computer it should be OK.

It would be best upright of course but if that's not possible and you lay it down, be sure the side with the glass screen is facing up. I think the less pressure on the glass front, the happier you'll be when you unpack it later.
