What's the difference between Final Cut Pro 6 and Final Cur Studio 2?

FCP 6 is part of Studio 2 which is a suite of applications including Motion, SoundTrack Pro, LiveType and others.

To be a bit more precise, Final Cut Studio consists of the following applications:

Final Cut Pro - a non-linear video editing program
SoundTrack Pro - an audio editing/manipulating program
Motion - a motion graphic and compositing program
LiveType - a video titling program (not included in FCS 3)
Compressor - a video/audio encoding program
DVD-Studio Pro - a DVD authoring and burning program

Once you get use to the FCP interface, offer to work in exchange for training at a post house. But the best way to learn is to shoot some footage and experiemnt!
