Font Book - mac os x 10.5.8

New to Font book - and have installed several fonts since. Under the "Collection" column in Font Book is a list:

*All Fonts*
English
User
Computer

My question is - does the "Computer" list represent the original fonts that came with my mac? I am trying to determine which are my original computer fonts, is this the case?

If not, how do I determine which came with my computer versus those I have installed on my own since owning it?

Thanks kindly 🙂

It would be if you only have the original fonts on your Mac.

"User" shows you a list of only those fonts in your user account. "Computer" shows a combination of the fonts in the System and Library folders. Initially, they would of course be only the fonts OS X installs. But it will then also include fonts installed by Microsoft Office and the Adobe apps since they both drop their fonts in the Library folder (or any other software that installs fonts there).
