iPhone Software Update File Location

Anyone know where the iPhone Software Update file might be located on the computer after it's been downloaded? (It's hiding from me!)

This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275 provides the location of the iPhone software on a Mac or PC.

~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
Note: The tilde "~" represents your Home directory.

But its probably invisible, so use finder.

Thanks for your replies, and for the link!

Looks like previous updates are trashed when the new one is installed...

And, for what it's worth, iPhone Software Update 3.1.3 seemed to install without any problems.

That's correct, they are trashed since you can't go backwards anymore.
