Failed Over-the-air App install. Now have a grey "ghost" app in "waiting"

I tried to install an app over-the-air to my iPod touch, and it apparently failed. Now I have a grey "ghost" app button with "Waiting..." as it's title that I can't see to figure out how to remove either on the iPod or when docked to iTunes.

Suggestions?

Mac OS X (10.6.2), iMac 27" i5
