No. Linux is not supported and I doubt it ever will be.

Since it's working with windows, it should be working with Linux.

Windoze and Linux are about as far apart as can be.

OS X and Linux are based on UNIX which makes them much more comparable.

Just for the sake of accuracy, Mac OSX is based upon the Mach kernel. With some parts from FreeBSD's and NetBSD's implementation of Unix which were were incorporated in Nextstep, the core of Mac OSX.
