Can you get mail via ipod touch?

Have tried on a few occasions to set up receiving of e-mails from an ntlworld account and have been unsuccessful any one help me out?

HP Nepbook, iPhone OS 3.1.3

Thanks, First I entered my name then e-mail address password and description (keith.durrington)I then 'saved' and was sent to another screen with IMAP and POP at the top, I switched from IMAP to pop and was then asked to input information from Incoming Mail Server, i.e. Host Name - ntlworld.com, user name keith.durrington (at) ntlworld (dot) com, password ... Then asked to fill in Outgoing Mail Server - Host name, I have put smtp.ntlworld.com What am I doing wrong?

Okay,

Outgoing mail is pop3.ntlworld.com
Incoming mail is smtp.ntlworld.com

Try those.

I've also read that outgoing mail may be pop.ntlworld.com

You are very welcome - just remember that when you are connected to someone elses wifi system, you may not be able to send emails unless they are connected to NTL as the ntl mail server will only accept outgoing mail from devices connected to ntl itself.
