Kensington FM transmitter does not charge Nano- What gives

Hey. I have this perfectly good Kensington Model K33199US FM transmitter, that played my old iPod through my car radio while charging it.

With my new 5th gen nano, it still plays my tunes through the radio, but no longer charges the iPod. I get a message to the effect that the iPod is connected to something that is not charging it.

Did you guys change the pin configuration in the connector? and why? and is there anything we can do, short of going out and buying a different device? Not very cool.

As we guys are just your fellow users, we didn't do anything. However, Apple changed from Firewire to USB charging about two-three years ago. So, no, there's nothing you can do short of buying a new transmitter.

Best of luck.
