iTunes wont install on Windows 7.

Im hoping you can help me. I recently installed Windows 7 on my HP Laptop. I have had to re-download iTunes to re-install on my laptop as I reformatted my hard drive to do the install. I have downloaded the correct iTunes and when I go to run the program it doesnt do anything. It doesnt come up in my task manager, it doesn't start installing it just does nothing. I have followed all the steps as instructed so far but I cant seem to get it to run. The main issue is that I am unable to update my iPhone without iTunes.
Please let me know how to get this to work.

Thank you. 🙂

I am having the same problem and that didn't fix it.

I purchased a new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded the install file. When I double click the icon nothing happens.

I Downloaded the install cleanup utility and ran that (nothing with itunes in it).
I Downgraded the UAC to the lowest security setting.
I re-downloaded the install file and tried again.
I deleted all the temp files in the user file folder.
I made the install file compatible with Windows Vista (SP 2).

Still nothing. I double click (or right click and run as administrator) and nothing happens.
