Warranty for an iPod Nano 5G

I dont know what hmv is so I cant properly answer your question...I can say that I got my new ipod thru' an incentive program at employer (it was technically my earnings that bought it tho' but Ive no receipt). I asked apple on the one free support call and they said it is registered w/ them they know when it was bought and reg w/ itunes 9 so its fine.

I purchased my warrantly online for less and it worked fine got confirm back from apple and everything.

PS: I will say the papers that came w/ my warranty say that they may need receipts in some instances..I wasnt happy reading that.

They never came with a 90 days warranty. All iPods come with a one year warranty.

And would be able still take out a further 2 year Guarantee from Apple
You can purchase the AppleCare at anytime prior to the one year warranty date.
