after upgrade to Snow, OLYMPUS P-440 does not print correct aspect ratio

I have been using this printer for 4 years, with no problems. Since last Saurday I upgraded to Leopard Snow, only to find out I could not print properly anymore.
Since the original driver was no longer functional, I used the Gutenprint equivalent. Unfortunately, I still haven't managed to print a photo right. The are all distorted in terms of aspect ratio.

Please anybody, is there a way to solve this, or my printer goes to waste?

iMac 24" 2,93, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iMac 24" 2,66/MacBook 2,21/G5 dual 1.8/G4/iMac G3

I found out that hidden in the gutenprint diver lies a parameter that stretches the photo. Once I chose to crop instead, problem was solved!!!

Where did you find the setting to correct the problem? I have the same issue but can't find the setting to correct the image being stretched. I have my print settings set to "do not scale" in the print dialog box but my images are still being stretched on one axis.
