Saving text box as a jpeg image

Does anyone know a way to save a text box as a jpeg image. I firstly tried to make the text an image using the image inspector like in iweb but can't seem to get it to work in the same way. any ideas?

There isn't any tool to convert a text box to an image in Pages. Why do you need to do it?

You can try to create your text box. Export/ Print the doc to PDF. Open in Preview and select the box and Crop it. Save and drag it back to Pages doc.

Click on the text box with the command key held down. Copy.

Switch to Preview .app:

+Menu > New from Clipboard (cmd n) > Save > choose file format+

My first reaction to your question is "Don't!" Jpg is a very lossy format & will result in very blurry text. If you must make an image of the text, use PDF, png or tiff.
