Question

Where can I get a square shape with 2 rounded corners?

I don't know the name of the shape but it is square or rectangle with 2 rounded corners.
It is picture # 156 at this link;

Or how would I go about making one in Motion?

hi

funny i did this very same shape the other week. as i remember i think i looked for an easy way but got bogged down. In the end I think I used a combination of a rounded rectangle and an unrounded version and masked the corners accordingly. This is motion 4 with the ability to round corners on all shapes though.

I have motion 4 and keep trying with the rounded rectangle first and 2 masks on top of it but don't get it.
Can you give me a bit more specific instructions? Whenever you have time, no rush.
(I don't even know what you call this shape to do a search on google.)

hi,

create a rectangle to the size you want. Duplicate it and round the corners off as required. Put the squared one on top of the other. mask of opposite corners to reveal the rounded versions below.
