Print selection only

Print selection only

I recently purchased a new MBP. I already had a wireless HP (2510) hooked up and running when I was using my HP computer with Windows XP.

I installed the printer on my new Mac. Again no problem.

However, lately if I just want to print a selection, by highlighting it, (which it would initially let me do) now it wants to print the entire page without giving me any options. Any suggestions on how to correct this would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response.

Its hard so believe a computer as advanced as the MBP would not have a (Print Selection Only) option come standard when I took it new out of the box.

I wonder if Software Update could address this problem? For now I'll just cut and paste to TextEdit.

You do not need to cut and paste into TextEdit. You can use the New TextEdit Window Containing Selection service.
