Exporting to Quicktime MOV with transparent background?

I try to export a presentation with a transparent background. Is this possible?

I tried to create a new presentation with a white background, went into slide master and set background to none, then put some blue text on the slide. When exporting (fixed timing, "include transparency" checked), a MOV gets created with seemingly black background. When importing it into Final Cut, it turns out to be a black background, indeed. Do I have to create a green background and then remove it in Motion to achieve a transparent background?
