Does the magic mouse work in windows?

Yes it does. I have been using it for a while, and it is great!

For Boot Camp, make sure that you have installed the latest Boot Camp drivers.

For a virtual machine, it works just as it does on a Mac.

Yes, it is compatible with Windows via Boot Camp on your Mac. I have been using it ever since it had come out. I love it! It has proved to be the best mouse that I have ever used.

As for using it with a Sony VAIO, it will not work unless you have the specific drivers. At best, you will get limited functionality.

the mouse works fine under my MacBook Pro (personal laptop) however i would like to get it work under my PC work laptop as well. As track pad under the PC is crappy.
