My ringtones aren't showing up on my phone

I, like many others, had my phone "synced" when I didn't want it synced. It took all my music, videos, and ringtones off my phone. The music and videos are no problem gettin back on, and that part is already done. The ringtones are a different problem. If I sync the ringtones in my iTunes, they all go on and show up. If I manually add them, only 1 shows up.

Now, I love the iPhone. It's a great phone. The problem with the iPhone is that it is made by Apple, who *****. Their too concerned with making people buy ringtones to make more money they screw us over and we cant even make ringtones out of songs we bought.

If anyone can tell me why the ringtones show up in the Ringtones folder under my iPhone in iTunes, but dont show up on my iPhone when they were there today, you'll have my respect. Why only 1 of the ringtones on my iPhone actually shows up boggles my mind. They're the same dang ringtones that we on my iPhone earlier, and now they dont work ???

AAC version, change to .m4r. Done all that, and only 1 works.

It would be great if someone from Apple were to read this, so they could know I'll be getting a freaking sweet new Blackberry when my contract comes up. No more iPhones for me. No iPad. No Mac computers. Your crap *****, not because they aren't good products, but because the people behind the products are frickin idiots and ya have to have all your stupid Apple rules. Is it so bad to make my own ringtones instead of paying $2 for one? Really?

Yeah, so, Apple, I'm ******. Thanks for frickin up, again.

Yes you can - its quite easy. If you have a Mac so its even easier.

I believe that ringtones cannot be manually sync'd - if you are manually managing your music then I read somewhere here that the ringtones don't sync across.

They won't its just us users here.

Maybe you should read the manual on making your own ringtones. Then you would realise the people aren't idiots but you are for not reading the instructions.

No, its just that people such as you don't bother to read the manual and guides which tell them how to do something and then rant incoherently about Apple when its their own shortcomings.

Feeling rather silly yet ? Once you've calmed down, I am sure we can help you to solve your problem.

For serious?

I know how to put ringtones on my iPhone. I've done it before. It has happened. It just wont happen anymore. I'm sure reading my manual will solve the problem though (thick sarcasm bein laid down right there if you couldn't pick it up).

So what was all the wails about having to pay for ringtones then ?

And the stuff about not being able to create them without paying ?

PS Ringtones have to be less than 30s in duration - could that be why only one is transferring across ?

The lone custom ringtone that made it back on is 40 seconds.

Thats interesting as its supposed to not be possible without a third party App :/

I am guessing here but I think thats coming across as its being treated as a music track, rather than a ringtone - how very strange. Does it appear in the iPhone in the Settings => Sounds => ringtones section as a customer ringtone and play okay ?
