Aperture 3 not available in media browser

I downloaded the trial version of Aperture 3 and bought a downloaded license to upgrade my Aperture 2 installation. However, Aperture no longer appears in the media browser in any application (and not just the images, Aperture isn't even an option, just iPhoto is there). I read online about iLife Support 9.0.4, but it doesn't appear for me in software update, and it isn't listed in the Apple Support Download page or on the iLife support page.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get Aperture back into the media browser?

Thanks

I'm on 10.6.2. I installed the Aperture 3 Trial on this machine, just downloaded the dmg and double clicked on the mpkg. Not sure if it matters, but initially to perform the install I moved my Aperture 2 install (/Applications/Aperture) to /Applications/Aperture 2. After ensuring that Aperture 3 was worth the upgrade, I deleted /Applications/Aperture 2. I have also rebooted since the install, and deleting Aperture 2, just to make sure that a reboot wouldn't magically solve the issue.

Add me to the list too. No more mediabrowser.

I am also wondering, in case of multiple libraries, which one does Aperture pick ?
The one that you last worked with ?

Maybe this is what is causing this. Since Aperture 3 is unmanageable slow on my (3 months old) MBP, I began splitting up my library into multiple libraries to see if it would help.
I'm still in the process of exporting so no idea yet on snappiness, but maybe there is a difference for the mediabrowser for people with only one library, or multiple libraries ?

Quick update, it appears that if I create a brand new library, I'm getting Aperture in the media browser. However, if I switch back to my real library, nothing in media browser. So, perhaps something is wrong with my library. I'm going to try exporting projects 1 at a time and reimporting and see if I can find the problem.

Same problem. I just tried the above and same also. New library works, while old upgraded aperture library doesn't. I'm go to try "Rebuilding the Library" and see what happens
