Connecting PC to my Laser Writer Select 360

I have an Imac and two dells a lap and desktop I have my imac connect to my Laser writer select 360 via belkin router due to my dsl connection I also have both dell connected to the belkin router wirelessly.

My question is where to I get drivers or what ever it is I need to get my pc's to recognize my laser writer select?

Can't they all work on this router via wireless network?

How is the LWS 360 currently connected to your Belkin router? Via a Localtalk-to-ethernet adapter like the Asante "AsanteTalk"?

If so, it is likely your two PCs won't be able to communicate directly with the printer given its current setup for two reasons:
- Windows XP doesn't support printer communication using Appletalk
- your Belkin router likely doesn't bridge Appletalk traffic between wireless clients and devices cabled to its LAN ports

What you could do is set up printer sharing on the iMac (assuming the iMac is running either MacOS 10.3 or 10.4). You could then set up both PCs to print to the shared printer created by the Mac by following the advice at http://www.efelix.co.uk/tech/3000.html . The driver for the LWS 360 is built into Windows XP.

Have you tried using the printer's PC serial port connection on the back of the LW 360?

I have a LW 360 happily living connected to a Mac network via a LocalTalk-Ethernet bridge and simultaneously connected via the printer port on a Dell desktop PC running Win 98SE. Apple has a LW driver to support Win PC printing by this method. I know that it works for Win98SE, but I don't know if and which later Win OSs might also be supported.

Win XP might be a long-shot, but in that case, perhaps you could then create a PC network with some old PII type machine running Win 98 to act as a print server?
