Error Code -1401 ...... huh?

I just recently started to experience a problem with my iTunes hanging and having to force quit. It seems that I can access all of my music, and the iTunes store and play all of my movies ..... EXCEPT, that when I scroll to the bottom of my movies page, the beach ball appears and iTunes hangs as it tries to load the last few movie art.

I have my iTunes on an attached Drobo, and when iTunes hangs, and I have to force quit, it has trouble with the Drobo and I have to restart the computer. Well, I decided to see how long it would "hang" and after letting it go for several hours I came back and the movie art didn't load, but the title screen appeared in its place (DVDs ripped from handbrake) and I got error code -1401 and it told me the iTunes library could not be saved. Any ideas what is going on or how I can rectify this problem?

It is an error code for snow leopard, no?

Not if you are having issues with iTunes? Reason why I suggest you try their forums. The only suggestion I can muster up is for you to make sure your iTunes is updated to the latest version & likewise for that piece of software you have connected to it. Or is it hardware?
I could not locate anything regarding error code -1401 searching these forums or Google. I did find something in Knowledge Base but the error pertained to some "script" error in os 9.

I do not know what a Drobo is. Do you get the error if you disable or disconnect it?
