Where is the serial number on final cut 4 express?

Hello, I recently bought final cut express 4 today. When installing the program, I get prompted to type in a serial key located on the back of the software booklet. However, I cannot find the serial number. I've tried every number on the back of the software manuel and on the box and I still don't have the right key. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Hi

In my box there was another box that opens and reveals the DVD disk.

The other half of this also is a box - opens on the side.

In this there was a small booklet and on it's last page (back-page) ther
was two stickers glued.

Top one FCE Serial no x 2 and under this Support ID no

Serial no is X-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXXX (Observe last one 4 digits or letters)

If You as I have an upgrade - then You need the licence key from original - full pay version.

As Bengt told you the serial is about 32 letters/digits long.

Make sure you type it exactly using upper case letters and don't mistake zeros for the letter O.

Wait, so you are telling me that I bought an upgrade and not the original final cut express?

If it is an upgrade it should say so on a sticker at the bottom right corner on the front of the box.

Also it will ask you for 2 serials . . . . . its own and that of the original full retail version.
