iPhoto 6 and HP Photosmart A640
I purchased an HP Photosmart A640 photo printer yesterday and I am having trouble getting photos to print directly from iPhoto (I'm running iPhoto 6). I got the printer to connect to my MacBook Pro with bluetooth, and I also have it plugged in via USB.
When I open iPhoto and select a photo to print, I get the printer dialogue box that allows you to select which printer to use, etc. Photosmart A640 is selected, so far so good. Now I need the photo to print on 4x6 paper and here is where the problem lies. I cannot select a 4x6 paper option for this particular printer even though I can when I am using my larger printer (HP Photosmart 7150). I've searched for a fix, and tried to find a solution with my own tinkering, with no luck.
The only way so far I have been able to get my photos to print on this machine is by dragging each photo one at a time into Bluetooth Exchange software. Not very efficient at all.
Anyone have a fix for this problem?
