No NAS Connectivity after Network change/Utility update

Help!!
I have this network setup:
fat32 formatted NAS (OWC NDAS) and LAN

Here's my problem:
No connectivity on NAS

Here's What I did:
a) Was having little or no connectivity with lan server and internet, changed settings on nas to improve connectivity; changed ip address from automatic DHCP to static manual ip.

b) NAS utility stopped recognizing nas drive after a reboot; had to re-register nas to get connectivity.

c) Updated utility; now no connection at all. Tried un-registering and re-registering to no avail. Restarted and nas is still not recognized.

d) Can remotely log in to emac (from Mac Pro) and access nas.

Any ideas? How do I get connectivity?

One more note, my emac can connect with no problems. Except that picture files I copy to the nas (from emac) show corrupted if I open them on the Mac Pro (in OSX).

Windows doesn't have problems.

You can easily add an NTFS driver to Mac OS.

Windows may be different but most devices work as well or better.

What is your LAN server, and what is it running?

Where is your OWC NAS drive connected into?

Which OWC model? helps to have a link to products even.
NDAS, a technology developed by XIMETA, Inc., stands for Network Direct Attached Storage. NDAS is a better alternative to NAS(network attached storage

I found the HP NAS Media Server w/ Windows Home Server PPK 3 to provide server, support for iTunes streaming media, TimeMachine, SuperDuper, 5 drive bays and RAID support, with ability to add USB and eSATA. Costs more but full level of support for Windows and Macs (Windows needed to configure).

Where would I find an NTFS driver for Mac? I thought there weren't any.

The model I'm using is this:

I have a 120GB ata hard drive in the enclosure. I just updated the utility to version 1.8.4

My lan server is a Linux box. I don't know what version though.

My OWC NAS is connected to a network hub between the MP and emac. The hub is connected to ethernet port 2 on my MP. The rest of the lan is connected to ethernet port 1 on the MP. My NAS is for my use where the LAN server is for the rest of the family.
