VCF Import issue

O_o What the ****?!?!? No support for VCF files?

VCF are standard trade format for internet contacts, and I can't believe that iPhone can't natively import that.....

It's far easier to just import contacts into that and sync to the phone rather than manually emailing them to the phone and importing them there. Syncing also means you have all your important contact data in multiple places, and backed-up.+

iPhone, is a mobile and multimedia advanced phone, with a tool like Safari, and the least that I expect is to import contacts, if them come from a standard way.

So, if for some reason I had some VCF files, obtained from various systems, for example like an ERP/CRM/GROUPWARE, that is not also a standard program like Outlook or others, I can't import them, even VCF is a standard from the far 1995 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard) create also by Apple.

So a webapp, or not, an attach in a mail, if is VCard to add a new contact, result impossible to add in iPhone.

Syncing the iPhone, is a different operation, very importand and useful for backup, but not for import.

So they "right way" is to import VCF in to a mail program, and next "sync" the iPhone.

The awful way i say.

Briefly, I am figuring a web application that permit download VCF files, or something else that send a mail to my iPhone with a VCF attached, to add new contacts, result impossible to add in iPhone, and it is a big lack.
