looking for iLife Support 9.0.4 update as standalone

As of now it's only available via SU. We have no way of knowing if or when it would be provided as a standalone file.

You can download it by running "Software Update" select only that one.
Then in the Menu Bar click on "Update" then "Download Only"

Other links found via Google don't in fact give a direct download either.

But you can of course use Software Update to just download without install.

odd that there is a v903 link in downloads, just not a 904

Stumbled on this thread through Google so apologies for posting in a Leopard forum. Snow Leopard users can download the update with a quick trip to the command line:

softwareupdate -d iLifeSupport902-9.0.4

Then open /Library/Updates

Addendum: once the download has finished it will appear in /Library/Updates as a folder (mine was called '061-7594').

- Copy the downloaded folder into /Library/Updates on other machines as needed
- Run Software Update
- SU will say the iLife package is a 100% partial download and will install it from the folder in /Library/Updates
- SU will the delete the folder from /Library/Updates

Thanks for providing the missing but essential details.

Well, you can also just double-click 2 of the 3 packages from inside the download folder but it's not as convenient.
