I forgot my password that I just reset on my iPhone. The customer service tech at AT&T said to connect to iTunes to restore and reset the iPhone, but iTunes says it can't connect to the iPhone because I need to enter the password----which I can't remember!!!! Now I've entered in so many numbers that my iPhone says it's disabled, and I need to connect to iTunes. And guess what happens when I connect to iTunes?!?!? It says I need to enter the password on the iPhone, of course!!
I finally figured out part of the problem. I have a new computer...not the original computer & iTunes on which I backed up this phone. (My original computer met a terrible fate.) I had to do a full restore, which is fine. At least the phone is now more than just an expensive paperweight!
