Converting PST to MAC

I have a 'contacts' file from my old outlook account that i now want to import into my mac. Essentially converting a pst file to a mac file. What is the best way to do this?

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

How do i make the actual conversion? I have a pst file of my contacts. I no longer have any access to my outlook account or windows machine.

Might do the job. (Never had to try myself).
