Printing handouts with rule lines

I am trying to save my handouts as a .pdf with rule lines added for taking notes, and the rule lines never show up. I am using Keynote '08. Anyone else have this problem and what can I do about it?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

I have the same problem. I used to print my presentations as documents with lines so my students could take notes. Since I installed Snow Leopard, the lines have mysteriously disappeared, no matter whether I check the appropriate box or not.

I'm using Keynote 09 on a MacBook Pro.

It seems we are sharing a problem but no solution. Sorry.

I suppose I will have to ask at Apple Store - ugh!

I am having the same problem. No way to print the rules on the handout pages. I need to print multiple slides per page with lined space for notes. Any work arounds there?

Same problem for me. This is a REALLY annoying bug. I've sent feedback to Apple on it.
