Q: Stack render command in terminal?

Hi, a while ago Patrick Sheffield write the following:

'You might check out the section on "command line interface" in the manual. I've rendered a bunch of files by stacking several render commands in the terminal...'

IF you are reading this Patrick or anyone else for that matter...how exactly do you stack commands? I've managed to execute shake scripts from the terminal but can't find for the life of me, a solution to running a number of .shk scripts one after the other.

Extremely grateful in advance. Mick

I'm not sure what Patrick was talking about, but if you have QMaster set up for Shake,
you can launch QMaster, drag a bunch of Shake scripts into the batch window,
    and then submit them.

UNIX also has a batch command, but it is disabled in MaxOSX.

Thanks for the reply stuckfootage. I've been trying to get qmaster to talk to shake but alas it doesn't seem to want to know. I can add the scripts ok and I followed the instructions BUT the 'submit' button remains greyed out. Reading other peoples posts it seems that this is a common problem - or at least Qmaster can be flakey.....so I pulled back from using this and looked for a command line option. I'll go back to it now and see if I can crack it. Many thanks once again.
