If AbiWord is scriptable, which I doubt, you could create a simple AppleScript to open and resave all the WordPerfect files. (I just checked, it is not scriptable)
Otherwise Automator does have a recordable mode which you could use to run a "watch me do" sequence. Then you need to usually fiddle with it a bit to get it to run, and run as quickly as will work.
Thank you for your reply. Is there a program for Mac that can batch convert the wordperfect files? We have quite a number of files, single converting each file would take days. Thank you.
MaclinkPlus can batch convert WordPerfect files. They can't convert them directly to Pages, but they can convert them to Word which could then be opened in Pages.
