Volume window opens when mounted

I have an external drive with three partitions. When I plug in the firewire cable from the drive to my MacBook, all three drives appear on the desktop.

One of the volumes also opens a Finder window displaying its contents. This is annoying and I'd rather not see the window when the volume is mounted.

Any ideas?

Using +Disk Utility+, the external drive was partitioned into 3 volumes. The first was 10 GB. Using the Restore command, the +Mac OSX Leopard Install Disk+ was copied to that volume. That is the volume that pops up the window.

Is it because this is an Install Disk?

The second volume is an image backup using +Carbon Copy Cloner+.

The third volume is used for +Time Machine+.

Hmmm! The proverbial missing information. I have the install disk restored on an internal partition and that doesn't happen. Check the window that pops up and ensure there's no efi file displayed. If there is, delete it, close the window, dismount, and remount. Alternatively, you could use CCC to clone the install DVD, just make sure that the window that normally pops up when you insert the DVD is closed before cloning.
