My Iphone froze while I was updating my OS

Hello,

My Iphone 3G froze while is was upgrading the OS installed on it. Even when i restart my phone the "Connected to Itunes" logo appears. I have even tried to hold home and sleep button for 10 seconds with no results.

I've also tried reinstalling Itunes, but the Iphone doesn't appear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are on Windows 7 and have an Intel P55 or PM55 motherboard there is a bug in the BIOS. You may need to update your BIOS from your manufacturer's web site.

If that is not the issue do you get any error messages?

Oh, that seems to be the case.
I just tried it on an alternative computer and things seems to be updating now.

My 2g, and 3GS have crashed every time on updates on XP, vista, and win7. The restore usually doesn't work the first time or 2 until you've rebooted the computer once or twice. I even had to create a second user on the computer, load a separate itunes on it to get it to restore(with apple guy walking me through it) then switching to my normal user and backing up to the phone. Really wastes a ton of time.
