Mteronome Light

Hi,

I would love to succeed in making my metronome flash a light instead of making a sound on each beat.
My thinking tells me i might be able to do this by rooting the klopfgeist signal to a horizontal or vertical meter (to have the visual beat) and then Not sending this signal to an audio out.
Can anyone tell me how to do this OR give me advice on making a Visual metronome instead of an Aural one?
