I can make the whites of eyes brighter and have up increased the vibrancy of people's eye - but can I enhance the colours any other way?

Thanks

Sure can, in fact you can change the colour of peoples eyes completely! Use the Color brick, then sample the iris (for example) with the eye dropper, then select Brush Color In from the drop down gear menu in the Color brick. Paint the irises then adjust hue, saturation etc to suit. My model now has one brown eye and one bright green.

Most of the adjustment bricks now have this really useful Brush xx In command and it really allows you to be very selective and creative. AP3 is a massive step forward in my opinion, it's just a shame so many folks are having install problems - we never get to hear the success stories of course, such is the nature of a help forum.

Have fun

Hi Flat Eric

Your advice sounds perfect! Forgive my ignorance I am completely new to Aperture so where do I find the color brick!

Have asked "help" but found nothing!

Thanks again!

Hi Lisa

The Color brick is found in the Adjustments tab from the Inspector. If the Inspector is not displayed click it's button on the menu bar, then there should be 3 tabs available - Library, Metadata and Adjustments. Once you've chosen Adjustments then Color should show as one of the default bricks, if you can't see it then select it from the scroll down menu from within the Adjustments tab.

Have fun, take care

EDIT I am assuming you are using Aperture 3 Lisa, if you are using Aperture 2 you won't be able to brush your adjustments in as I have described above!

Thanks again FlatE!

I think I need some tuition!

Have located colour bricks - thanks.

Now how to use them.........................................

Fun! I am just about to reach for the Gin, oooh the stress!

But I do agree with your earlier point, Aperture 3 is fab - have only had it since yesterday and can't drag myself away from it. My install went OK and although it has crashed a couple of times everything seems fine - just wish there was a manual!

The boxed version comes with a hardcopy booklet called Exploring Aperture and there is a a PDF version of it on the CD/DVD however the best value is the
Aperture 3 User Manual -
http://www.apple.com/support/aperture/

is the same as the Aperture Help Document but formatted for PDF viewing.

In addition there is a collection of video Tutorials at
