Intel Processor Unit Identification

Hi, Harpo. What information do you need about your processor, and what for? If you'll tell us exactly what your machine's processor speed, screen size, and Model Identifier (from System Profiler > Hardware) are, we'll be able to direct you to additional information about it.

You can also download Hardware Monitor and view information about your processor in its System Information > More info window.

Just use Terminal.

Fire up Terminal and enter sysctl machdep.cpu.brand_string
