No audio on video import from Polaroid DVC-00725F

At first when I copied the AVI files onto my computer I couldn't see the video, but I downloaded Perian and MPEG Streamclip and can now see the video and convert it into Quicktime format. But there is still no audio, and I have no idea why. The camera belongs to a friend who has no trouble getting audio and video on his PC. Any help would be appreciated.

In that case, though, no one seemed to have trouble with audio.
