How to sync iCal and Lotus Notes Calendar

I use Lotus Notes 8.5 client on my MacBook at work. Anyone knows how to synchronize Lotus Notes calendar and iCal?
This is the first step to have my lotus notes calendar entries on my iPhone. Or may be is there a way to do it directly?
I access to my Lotus notes client using password.
Thanks!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Check out PocketMac from Pocketmac.net:

I used this software several years ago to sync Entourage with iSync before it had the ability to do that itself. Was a lifesaver at the time. I use Lotus Notes for work, but typically sync my Notes data directly to my mobile via Lotus Traveller for S60 (Nokia).

Lotus Domino v8.5.1 also includes Microsoft's ActiveSync technology, which allows you to sync your iPhone directly with the Domino server and may also allow you to sync some of your desktop software to the server, although I've never tried that myself.

Good Luck,
Dave

If you want to see your Lotus Notes Calendar AND your own iCal calendar on the iCal application on the iPhone, there is a solution.
a) You must (or your company) have a server running Domino 8.5.X (preferably 8.5.2), also must have a software called Lotus Notes Traveller which as I understand makes it possible for putting the events on the iPhone, using the Active Sync tecnology from MS.

b) The way it works is that the Domino server is configured by your system administrator, and then from the iPhone you access your company's specific web address where you download a "script"(the iphone side of the Traveler software) install the script and that's it.
You can look at this page to have a general idea of the procedure (remember the specific address should be given to you by your Notes administrator)

However I have not been able to put Lotus Notes Calendar on the iCal on my Mac.

Also I used to be able to see my iCal Calendar on the Lotus Notes client on the Mac, but no longer works since Apple made changes to the Mobile me version of iCal

It's possible to sync your Lotus calendar with Google or Yahoo! by PIM Syncer first and than sync it with your device by Google Sync:

PIM Syncer can work right on Lotus Notes client, that is you can install it even you do not have admin privileges. It can work on Mac, Linux or Windows too.

Andre - No you did not miss anything. Awesync only runs on a PC Windows client. I was forced to use the PC -- until recently I got a Mac - with Lotus Notes. The only way to sync from your Mac is to use what the previous poster referred to -- PimSyncer. The difference is that will run on a Mac client. You would still sync via a Gmail account.

I think Lotus Traveller would be the best solution. My company has already been piloting it and will make it available with 6-9 months to the rest of us.

At work Lotus notes on PC, at home I Mac and MBP and Iphone. There i use Icloud.

On the Iphone the company installed Lotus Notes traveller and sync is ok but sync with the home products ( Mac's in Icloud) is not working at all. Do i understand it correct that this problem is solved by installing PIM Syncer? but system requires lotus Notes according their site. Is it really a must to install Lotus Notes on Imac and MBP to solve my problem?

I use PC at work with Lotus Notes 8.5 at home all of our life runs off Apple environment (2 iPhones, 2 iPads and 3 iMacs), I use an app at work called Mobile Iron which syncs up all my email, contacts and work calendar to my iPhone, I then use iCloud to sync with the rest of my devices (iPads and iMacs) I now have all my calendars sharing the same information regardless of the device I use to look it up on, if you don't have an iPhone or Mobile Iron is not the way to go for your company you can also sync up your lotus notes with a google calendar account and also sync that up with ical.

If you want add even more convenience, set up a google calendar account for the family and enter all the family events there like school schedules for your children, family gatherings, birthdays, etc. and sync that one up with your iphone as well, if you want to look only at your work schedule just tick the family calendar off or vice versa.
