Cover art problem

When i go to cover flow mode, it displays albums that don't exist...
What i mean is, that if i have a song that doesn't belong on an album so the album tag is blank, the song is still displayed.
E.g I have a Muse song that isn't on any any albums, but in cover flow it shows the "no cover-cover"....
how do i stop these "a;bums showing?
