HP Wireless Elite Keyboard :: Mac Compatible?

Hey everyone!

So, I'm looking into getting an external keyboard for my macbook, and I don't have the $70 for Apple's wireless keyboard. I was kind of curious if this keyboard would work (with or without some of the function keys it has) on my macbook.

(Granted I'll be buying the cheaper one off of Amazon, here's the 'official' product page.)

I've looked around on a couple of other sites, and the only one that said anything useful was Bestbuy.com - they said it wouldn't - but I don't trust anything until I have either tried it myself, or until I have gotten three or four other opinions.

Advice is greatly appreciated! It looks like a fantastic keyboard, and I'm sick of the piece of junk I'm using as an external at the moment.

I'm using it on a Mac Pro and it works fine without any software. That said, there are a few caveats. The function keys are labeled for pre-defined functions (play, pause, eject, brightness, etc.), but the symbols correspond to what HP has defined for their software, not Mac OS X; so they do something other than what the labels suggest on a Mac, Which can be a little maddening. The other problem is that there is no Windows key on the right side of the keyboard, which means it does not function as a command key on the Mac. On Windows it maps to right click. On Mac it does nothing.

On the plus side, it has a wonderful feel. I actually like it better than the Apple bluetooth wireless keyboard. It also has a full 10-key keypad and a sleep button. Remember those?
