Tempo-synced loops in EXS24

Hi,

how can I make an EXS24 instrument with custom loops that sync to the given BPM?

Now, I first play (MIDI) notes/parts, quantize them, convert them to audio files, then create a new sampler instrument from the created regions. This method is almost what I need, but now I want my samples to match the given BPM.

Maybe it's important to say that eventually this sample instrument needs to be beat-synced in MainStage.

Thanks in advance for you help,
Jasper.

PS: I'm running the latest Logic Studio (with Logic Pro 9.1 & MainStage 2.1)

EXS doesn't have a beatslicer and it doesn't have timestretching either. It's completely outdated in these terms. Get Kontakt, it has all you need in oreder to slice beats, match them to host tempo and so on.

Since I'm a newbie:

- what's the quickest way to do this (I have several - 40 or so - samples on one track in Logic Pro)? Or do I have to load them one by one in Apple's Loop Utility?

- is there a way to use these Apple loops in MainStage (because that's eventually the purpose) and will they still sync to the given tempo?

Thanks again,
Jasper.
