Need to run Quicken for Windows 2010 on my MacBook Pro

After waiting for months for Quicken Essentials for Mac 2010 I downloaded it this evening. What a piece of JUNK.
I now need to run Quicken for Windows 2010 on my MacBook Pro.
My goal is to not have to use my PC anymore.
Question: What is the best way to do this?
Will I have to purchase a copy of Windows for my MBP as well?
Quicken will be the only PC application that I will be using.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2), MacBook Pro 15" 2.53GHz (Oct 2009) OS X 10.6.2 / Time Capsule 1TB

Yes, this new offering from Intuit is totally worthless to me...I'm not a buyer.

But, Quicken for Mac 2007 works great. Great for all investment tracking, reports, budgets, etc..

My hope is Intuit will realize how bad Essentials is (reviewing their forums, I believe they now know!) and continue online support for Quicken 2007 till they come up with a better product for Macs. They have insinuated, report from a moderator and employee, that they will make a better one for the next offering.

I just got my Mac and was planning to go total immersion and not run any windows-based programs…that is until I tried using Entourage instead of Outlook and Quicken Essentials versus the PC version.

So I installed VM Ware and both are working fine except when I open Quicken it always asks me if I am a new or existing user and to select a data file. If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.

I use Parallels with Win XP and the only win application I run is Quicken. I have had Parallels for quite some time, so I haven't tried anything else.

There is something new that does not require you to purchase Windows. I believe it is called Crossover. You can download a trial and install Quicken that way. I believe it allows you to run Windows based software in the Mac environment, but the software list is somewhat limited. I'm not sure if Quicken 2010 is supported.
