background photo cant be found on iphone

Hi Guys
Taken a picture of a really cool gigg.
The picture was then set as my wallpaper so everytime i use passcode to get onto my phone i can see my piccy.
want to download the piccy onto my harddrive and use it elsewhere.
Can't see it anywhere on my iphone. Looked on the harddrive of the iphone useing both iphoto and image capture. Can somebody help with the directory of where background photos are located on an iphone. Im pretty certain if i change my background photo to any other then my really cool gigg photo is going to be lost forever. Don't want to change the background photo on the premise until I have an answer if I can extract my current back ground photo.
Thanks
Chris

A photo captured by your iPhone is stored in your iPhone's Camera Roll. A photo in your iPhone's Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. For a wallpaper photo, you can select from the included wallpaper photos, from a photo in your iPhone's Camera Roll, or from a photo transferred from your computer which is stored in your iPhone's Photo Library. If you select a photo for a wallpaper that is in your iPhone's Camera Roll and the selected photo is imported by your computer and deleted from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete, the selected photo will not be removed from your iPhone as a selected wallpaper photo. It isn't possible to access your iPhone's directory where a selected wallpaper photo is stored without hacking your iPhone.
