Will not import one of new Beatles CDs - "With the Beatles"

It's an enhanced CD, not a "standard" audio CD.
Sometimes they do not work on some computers/CD players.

Sorry I do not understand big words like "enhanced," but if the CD will not rip in iTunes it is obviously defective and should be returned to the place of purchase for a refund.

I do not know why somebody would try to sell you a CD that will not rip in iTunes. This is 2010. What did they think you are going to do with it, walk around with a boom-box?

I'd try taking it back. It must be defective in some way. I think CD players are a bit more forgiving about problems with the CDs. One thing to do is hold the CD up to a light and see if you can see any "pinholes". Maybe there's one in a bad spot for a computer.

Assuming this is one of the 2009 remasters, I didn't have any problems importing them. I just tried +With the Beatles+ (2009 stereo remaster) in my 2008 iMac, and it imported without a problem, too. I imported the mono version last fall, so this is the first time I tried with the stereo.

I have the same problem. I'm running 10.5.8 with iTunes 9.1. On my old Tiger system (10.4.latest) with iTunes 7, it imports just fine. So, Apple broke something...
