Driver to Canon scanner Lide 80

I use a Canon scanner: Lide 80. And want to find an updated driver to Snow Leopard.

On Canon's homepage I can only find on for system OS 10.4 - and this one does not work.

Any user in this forum with the same scanner - and have solved this problem.

Looking forward to a hint - and thanks in advance

Just sitting here now trying to figure this out. I've used this scanner since about 2004 with my powerbook and it always worked perfectly. Tonight I tried it on a new imac and a 3 year old imac running Leopard and neither will work. Checked for and installed drivers but nothing seems to help. It seems like on the powerbook I used a Scangear tool in Photoshop but this keeps pointing to the canonscan driver. Hope to resolve this as the scanner is rarely used and like new. I'll get back in a week when I bring home the powerbook and try it on there. I have been told that Snow Leopard is very picky about drivers and software installed in general. Best of luck with the problem
