Cox Tech Support Live Chat Java Client Mac Compatible?

I just had an annoying experience with Cox live chat tech support where I got the usual "you don't know how to use your computer" attitude from a technician who doesn't know squat about Macs. The Java chat client they use does not support hyperlinks, copying or pasting of text for me in either Safari or Firefox. I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.11.

If there are any Cox internet customers who would like to give their live chat a try, I'd love to know if it works for you, and what OS you're using. See if you can copy text from the chat window and ask the tech to send you a URL to see if it's a hyperlink.

He admitted it wasn't tested on Macs but insisted it works.

Thanks!
