How to remove screen protector/

I recently got my first Iphone (3GS). I currently have a Belkin ClearShield screen protector on it that I want to replace. How do I remove it? I believe it has a light adhesive holding it in place. Thanks.

iPhone 3GS, iPhone OS 3.1.3

Stick a piece of transparent (Scotch®) tape to the corner of the screen protector, then pull gently upward on the tape, and the screen protector should lift off too.
